Banana cake

recipe Comments Off
  • Banana cake3–4 ripe bananas
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 60g butter
  • 120g flour
  • (optional) vanilla extract, baking powder, chocolate chunks, chocolate powder, nuts…

Pre-heat the oven at 210°C

Mix the puréed bananas with the juice, then add the sugar, then mix with the eggs, then add the melted butter, and the flour.

Cook 45 min at 120–150°C depending on your oven.

As I’ve been doing some vari­a­tions on the tra­di­tional cheesecake recipe, with more or less success, this post will help remind me of some of the suc­cessful variations.

One of the reason for all of these testings, apart from a taste in exciting new culinary exper­i­ments, is that the typical ingre­dients to make those yummy New-York style cheese­cakes are not that easily found in France.

Pear & Chocolate TartTo chase away mood­iness and rest­lessness, there is nothing like some gor­geous decadent chocolate dessert.

Here’s an easy one to make. And quick too. It can be a matter of life and death  :P
